Assalamualaikum....
It is 11.42 pm -10 mins after my bedtime -hence i shldn't be here but here i am, wanting to pen down my reflections on my past week as i do not want to lose track of the things that i've done for this 1 week. i rather take into account what i've done before i am accountable for them on the day of judgement.
basically...i've been MIA from my blog because 1stly, i've been sleeping over at my aunt's house most of the days this past wk and it's not so nice if i were to hog on her house computer for long, 2ndly, i couldn't use my own house computer coz it was dismantled due to the repainting of my hs and 3rdly, my sch's laptop is spoiled. Thus, all these 3 points prove that i have no access to internet at all, hence i can't blog. Why am i listing these down? i wonder too... but whatever it is...i just wasted 30s listing them down. :p
this past week was a slack wk at sch coz i didn't have a time-table yet and so, i was just doing relief in my sch for just 1-2 hrs each day. the rest of the periods were spent on either writing the report on students oral exam, preparing answers for my Mendaki students and having breakfast with my colleagues.
the highlight of the week was my breakfast chit-chat session with my Christian colleagues on religion. it is indeed interesting to have colleagues who are strong in their faith eventhough they are not Muslims as at least, we have something common to talk about- God. Alhamdullillh, we shared with each other about our religion and about our views on marriage and parenting.

Visit to the Zoo!!
Assalamualaikum.....
Last Saturday was a memorable day for me and Habibah as we went back to Habibah's 'hometown' to visit Habibah's 'relatives' heheeehehee... It was an awesome day and I thank thee for spending that day with me :)
This is Habibah's hometown.....
Habibah's home was located somewhere really faarrr... So before we could reach Habibah's place, we first have to pay some visits to Habibah's long-lost neighbours whom Habibah has not met for so long.
1st stop we have......
As you can see...this neighbour of hers is reaaalllyyy tall...Anyone can compete wi th that kind of height?
Up next we visited a neighbour with spotted skin.
This is her hometown neighbourhood cat. Doesn't it look really fierce? Apparently, it feeds on monkeys.... Now...who dares to caress this cat?
This is another 'neighbourhood' cat... It's called the white tiger. Yap...don't ever get near that cat. That is if you're not tired of living...heh..
We then passed by a pond and in it...we saw a fish...a reallllyy long fish.
The pond is located somewhere near the jungle and as we walked through the jungle, we saw a big fat animal resting by a tree trunk.

Now...finally I get to see a friendly neighbour...

Aaahhh....I finally see the relatives!! Woah...What a big family!! But why are they showing us their asses? What a 'warm welcome' hhmmpphh!

Oh my...what a chaotic family.

Lazy Day.
Assalamualaikum....
Today was a lazy day for me. I woke up close to 10 and the only household chore I did was to fold the clothes and blend the onion. I didn't even help with the cooking and eventhough my mom and grandma kept shouting at me to sweep the floor and clean-up my room, I didn't.
Yes..don't ask me why. Laziness has always been in my genes (unfortunately) but at times, i jus force myself to get up and do some work. However today, I just went along with my genes and simply refused to do any work. (So next time if i'm not doing any work, don't blame me, blame my genes! ;)
I don't know exactly what I did in the morning but somehow the morning just went by and the next thing i knew, i had to get myself ready coz i was meeting syik at 3.30pm at bugis.
I hate it when my time was not filled up doing something useful. Sometimes, I make it a point to plan my day early in the morning and write the things-to-be-done in the form of a checklist and before i go to sleep, i will tick against those activities which i've fulfilled. On some days i felt fruitful but days like today make me feel like i'm the biggest loser on earth. I will always try to remind myself of the importance of time in Islam and how I've to treasure it. There's a hadith in which Rasulullah s.a.w said:
" Grab five things before five others: your youth before your decrepitude, your health before your illness, your wealth before your poverty, your leisure before your work, and your life before your death." [al-Hakim in al-Mustadrak]"
and in another hadith, Rasulullah s.a.w also reminded us to do as many good deeds before more obstacles come our way:
"Lose no time to do good deeds before you are caught up by one of seven calamities awaiting you: a starvation which may impair your wisdom; a prosperity which may mislead you; an ailment which may damage your health; an old age which may harm your senses; a sudden death; the Dajjal (Antichrist); or Doomsday, which is indeed the hardest and most bitter." [at-Tirmidhi, al-Baihaqi]
and needless to say, in the Quran Allah has sworn upon time in Al-Asr, in which He said:
"By Al-`Asr. Verily, man is in loss. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and recommend one another to the truth, and recommend one another to patience."
At-Tabarani recorded from `Abdullah bin Hisn Abi Madinah that he said, "Whenever two men from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah used to meet, they would not part until one of them had recited Surat Al-`Asr in its entirety to the other, and one of them had given the greetings of peace to the other.'' Ash-Shafi`i said, "If the people were to ponder on this Surah, it would be sufficient for them.''
Hence, time is indeed something which we should all treasure and before I tell anyone this, I should constantly remind myself first not to waste time.
Anw, lets move on to the outing with syik. We had a really fun time shopping for fari's soon-to-be-born baby (InshaAllah) at the baby section. Looking at all the baby clothes just makes us feel like getting pregnant fast and have our own babies!! hehe... imagine dolling up our babies with baby clothes that are so small and cute and wearing for them socks and mittens and carresing their soft cheeks.... what a nice feeling that is.... :) i'm sure all women would want to have such experience one day. InshaAllah. Amin.

After buying some baby stuffs, I went to meet H and Alhamdulillah, I'm very glad with the outcome of TM and the news about the job. May Allah and Rasul bless you for your work and your rizq! Amin. I simply can't wait for our outing tomorrow inshaAllah!

Shopping Day!
Assalamualaikum....
Today was really a BIG shopping day for me as I went out at about 12 pm and came back home only at 11pm! Yes...my pocket is burnt as I've to spend on certain things for the wedding like bedsheets and some wedding gifts.
Well...shopping with my mom and aunt was crazy as we shopped from Robinsons (since they've the 7% off) to Taka to CK Tang. Can you imagine how much walking we had to do!! And there were so many goods on sale but of course if you're at Orchard, even if they've the sale it's still like not a sale right... haha..to me lah!
so I had to eye for those which were affordable to me and that really narrowed down the number of goods which i could consider buying... nevertheless, it was still a chore for me as i'm very fickle and it was difficult to make the final decision of what to buy. but in the end..i still did it!! yes...i did it!!
anw..enough of shopping, the topic is jus so boring. let's talk abt what we women talked about.. hehe...
well...when i'm with my mom and aunt, i get to hear lots of stuff about other pple. yes, it seems like backbiting, but in a way, i feel that life stories of other pple serve as a lesson for me. and after hearing to what they've said, i conclude that in life...'What goes around, comes around' and pls stop singing that song.
